Outside the Box

Unify Portland hosted their first Outside the Box field trip to the Federal Court House today. Our youth was provided with an introduction to the judicial process, and the agencies within. They also got to tour of the federal courts and courtrooms and look at different career paths.

None of these young men want to be a rapper or an entertainer. Today they found out the difference between a job and a career. They all said that none of them want jobs, they want a career. The power of their presence in that building cannot be put into words! This was a great day. ‪#‎UnifyPortland‬

These young men amazed us with their attention and focus. They all represented their Family and community with honor and respect. We were proud of them all and hope to get them back to finish up before the school year ends.
